Memorial Day in Waterloo, NY

On May 30th, my photo professor from Spring quarter, Keith McManus, called me up and said he was heading down to photograph the Memorial Day Parade in Waterloo, NY, where the Memorial Day Parade was founded.

So he swung by and we drove the 45 minutes down Interstate 90. It was a very small parade, and by that I mean there were probably less than 25 floats and one marching band. It was quiant and I really enjoyed the experiecne as most people seemed to know each other. The whole town was out either in the parade or just spectating.

We spent about an hour photographing before heading out to eat some good food at Mac’s Drive In.
