Worm Moon at Picacho Peak
3/28/2021 – Worm moon rises over Picacho Peak State Park, between Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

The moon is a beautiful thing. Every month, it goes through phases, waxing, and waning, until it is full and bright in the night sky. And then, it starts to wane again. But the full moon is always special. It’s a time when the night is at its brightest, and the moon is at its most beautiful.

This month, the full moon is especially special. It’s called the Worm Moon because it marks the time of year when the earthworms start to come out of the ground. And what does that mean for us? Well, it means that spring is on its way! The days are getting longer and warmer, and soon the flowers will start to bloom. So take a look up at the sky tonight, and enjoy the beauty of the Worm Moon.
